【Product Story】
Primitivo is an Italian red grape variety that was discovered in the 18th century by a famous missionary, who noted that Primitivo ripens earlier than other varieties. It was named after the Latin word "Primativus," meaning "the earliest to ripen," which evolved into today's "Primitivo." The main growing area is in southeastern Italy, Puglia, which resembles the heel of a boot and is the largest wine-producing region in southern Italy. Due to its unique climate, the Primitivo wines produced here have rich fruit aromas and a full body, filled with warm energy, even being referred to as "the kiss of the sun." This wine is harvested using a low-frequency de-stemming machine and processed promptly to maintain the integrity of the grapes, followed by maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and then aged and crafted to create a wine with a full, mature fruit aroma!
